Our Adventures
Founded in 2011, our first adventure took us to Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. We worked with several wonderful partners to take 56 cancer survivors and their supporters to the roof of Africa. Spanning three trips, we raised over $500K for LIVESTRONG while achieving an unprecedented 100% summit rate.
In 2019, we began working with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to lead young adult cancer survivors on epic adventures at Echo Hill Outdoor School in Maryland. We are excited to run our 3rd trip to Echo Hill in 2023!
Throughout this journey–we have seen those deeply impacted by cancer overcome challenges, be inspired, and form lifelong relationships.

We are an extended family with a passion for breaking down barriers and striving to make a lasting impact on the lives of others. Like so many, we have been impacted deeply by cancer and it’s consequences and we do not intend on allowing it to limit a world of adventure and possibility.
We are thrilled to collaborate with two of our favorite organizations, The Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Echo Hill Outdoor School. We are excited to continue to grow the Survivor Summit family while empowering survivors, shedding stigma, experiencing the wonder of the outdoors, and breaking down those barriers!
